Clevio Cookies

Our Privacy Policy describes the methods used to collect information and how you can influence it. One way to gather information is to use a technology called “cookies” and similar technologies such as pixels, local storage, and software development kits (SDKs). This technology is very widely used in Clevio.

What are cookies?

But in technology, the word cookie has a completely different meaning. To access the Internet, a program called a “browser” is used (for example, Apple Safari or Google Chrome). With this program, most websites store a small amount of information in special files. These files are called cookies. The principle of other technologies for collecting data about your activity on the Internet is similar. You can learn more about other technologies in the Help Center. This policy refers to these technologies collectively as “cookies.”

We use session cookies (which remain until the browser closes) or persistent cookies (which remain until you or your browser delete them). For example, we use persistent cookies to preserve language or other settings, so you do not need to set them every time you visit Clevio.

Some of the cookies we use are associated with your Clevio account (including information about you, such as your email address), while others are not.

How cookies are used

We have four categories of cookies:

Required cookies are required for Clevio to work. For example, login cookies that keep you connected while browsing and searching for courses.

Analytics cookies, which are used for internal analytics and include cookies from providers such as Google Analytics.

Personalization cookies for customizing content, including ads that you see on Clevio.

Marketing cookies that are used to determine which Clevio ads you are interested in.

How we use cookies for each category

Required Cookies

Required cookies store your settings, such as language selection and privacy.

Thanks to required cookies you can log in and out of Clevio. Required cookies are one way to ensure your network security. For example, we use them to prevent attempts to hack into accounts in Clevio or to detect spammers.

Personalization Cookies

Using cookies, we can track with which courses, lessons you performed any actions.

Where are cookies used?

Cookies are used on clevio.ai, in our mobile applications, products and services, such as advertising, email newsletters and applications.

Use cases

You can choose several options for using cookies in Clevio.

Most often, cookies can be configured through the browser menu. For example, in most browsers you can block “third-party cookies,” that is, files created by sites other than the one you are currently visiting. Each browser does this differently, so take a look at your settings.

Some browsers also allow you to enable the tracking prohibition mode that we support. With this setting, you can enable or disable us to use information from our partners and from other sources in order to tailor Clevio to your interests
